Her real name is Carolina. She invented her pseudonym at the age of 16, when performed on the project "The Morning Star 95". There was already claimed girl with the name Carolina in the list of contestants. A smart girl has read her name backwards whereby the name Ani Lorak has appeared.
The singer participated in the contest "Eurovision - 2005" and took the second place. In the same year she was awarded the title of "People's Artist of Ukraine".
Ani Lorak sings songs of the following styles: soul, pop, pop rock, dance-pop, synth pop. Artist has released 14 albums. Five of them have acquired "gold" status.
