Svetlana Loboda began studying music as a child. After graduating from music school, she entered the pop-circus academy in Kiev (pop vocal).

As a student Svetlana performed in band "Cappuccino". At the same time she gave concerts in nightclubs in Kiev under the pseudonym "Alicia Gorn". After she left the group, she starred in the musical "Equator".

In 2003, Sveta decided to form a band with the name "Sketch". During one of their performances she was noted by producer of the band "VIA Gra" and invited her to the group.

After a while Svetlana left the group and began a solo career. A month later she recorded her first single.

In 2009 Svetlana Loboda represented Ukraine at "Eurovision" and took the 12th place. She participated in the show "The Voice. Children" as a star coach.

The title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine" was awarded to her in the summer of 2013.
